Historical walking tours in a section of downtown Niagara Falls are being offered Wednesdays by the Niagara Falls Historic Preservation Society.

Dubbed the "Legacy Tour: Powerful People, Powerful Places," the 90-minute tours of the Buffalo Avenue area depart from the Niagara USA Visitor Center, 10 Rainbow Blvd. at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 and can be reserved at the society's website,  www.nfhps.org, or by calling 807-6754.
